Story

Thank you for taking the time to read about our cause in memory of a beautiful soul. *Connor James Norman*

We have decided to set up this JustGiving page to raise funds and awareness of the effects of mental health in young people.

This is our first point of publish for our up and coming Charity Foundation in Connors honour. We are in the process of starting a foundation to distribute the donations provided between MIND and The Matthew Project which is a charity that supports children and adults across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex with drug and alcohol recovery and wellbeing.

Mental health is a critical issue that affects countless individuals, yet it often goes unnoticed or unaddressed. By sharing our story, of Connor James, we hope to shed light on the struggles faced by many and advocate for the support they desperately need.

In earlier times Connor had experienced mental health problems leading to requiring support from Mental Health proffessionals.

Sadly Connor did not receive the support he required and made difficult life choices to create his own way of coping.

Heartbreakingly on Friday 11th October due to anoxic brain injury, Connor passed away, surrounded by family, after receiving extensive life support aged 18years and 1 month.

Our target is to raise as much money as possible but initially £3,000 GBP. This will go directly towards initiatives that promote mental health awareness and provide resources for those in need.

Together, we can make a difference and help create a world where no one feels alone in their battle.

We invite you to join us in this important mission. Your support can help change lives and foster hope for those who are struggling. Every contribution counts, no matter how small, and together we can honor the memory of Connor James while paving the way for a brighter future for those who have or are experiencing a similar path.
