I've raised £2500 to Enable Connor Stuart to compete at the CPISRA World Games 2018

My name is Connor Stuart and I'm 14 years old. I was born with Left Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy after having a stroke before birth. This means I have very limited use of the left side of my body along with coordination problems. I have always enjoyed being active but found it difficult to join in with most sports. I enjoyed swimming though, and in 2013 I began training with City of Cambridge Para Swimming Club and so began my dream of being a competitive Para Swimmer.
Over the last 4 years I have dedicated myself to training and taking part in Para swimming competitions, including the EFDS National Para swimming Championships in Dec 2016, the CPSport National Championships where I won a gold medal, a silver medal and 2 bronze medals and also the EFDS Junior National Para swimming Championships where I won Silver in the S6 100m backstroke.
Now the next part of my journey has begun. I have been selected to be part of Team CP England at the CPISRA World Games in Barcelona in August 2018. This is an amazing opportunity and honour but an expensive one as athletes have to fund themselves to attend. I aim to raise £2500 towards the costs of my England kit, and the travel and accommodation costs for myself and the required care attendant. Any help towards reaching this goal, and enabling me to take part, would be truly appreciated.
