In 2022, we raised over £1000 for mind and youngminds. Last year, we raised over £1200 for the British Heart Foundation. We are yet to decide on a charity for this years event, however, it is likely to either be the British Heart Foundation or Prostate Cancer UK. We will be hosting the game at the home of Ilkeston Town, on the 25th May 2024, where the Father Willcox XI will look to hold their status as Conquest Cup champions against the almighty Willcox XI, who are seeking revenge after their 5-3 defeat last year.

The Conquest Cup is a volunteer based charity event and to raise funds for the event, we use sponsors and justgiving pages. This way, it gives an opportunity for people to donate to allow the event to run smoothly and reach our desired goal. The fundraised money will be used to pay for programmes, raffle tickets, and footballs. These will allow us to raise even more for charity as they are all items that we will be looking at selling on the day. After the success of last year, we really hope that we can reach our desired goal of £200 to be able to make the Conquest Cup run for the second year in a row.
