I've raised £400 to Support conservation projects using dogs to save wildlife

Dogs are amazing animals that have been helping humans for thousands of years. In recent decades, their uses in conservation have been recognised more and more. West Midland Safari Park have been championing two charities that use dogs to help save wildlife as part of their conservation fundraising, and a group of us will be running the Birmingham half marathon to aid these causes.
Save the Rhino International set up the "Dog Squad" to combat rhino poaching in Kenya where illegal trade in rhino horn is tracked and prevented, and poachers can be followed and apprehended by attack dogs before it even happens. Cheetah Outreach are placing Livestock Guarding Dogs (LGDs) in South Africa on livestock farms so that farmers can protect their animals more effectively without killing predators on their land, including the increasingly vulnerable cheetah.
Please help us to support this great cause by sponsoring us to run a half marathon!! These projects need money to help towards equipment and other costs that keep the dogs and the staff doing a good job. Every little helps and all funds will be split equally between these two conservation projects.
