Teagan is a 10year old little girl who requires a medical treatment that is legal here in the UK but currently not funded by the NHS. You may have heard her story in the news over the last year. We are still fighting for her medication to be prescribed on the NHS but it is looking like its going to be a long hard battle
During this time we still have to find £2500 per month to supply Teagan with medication that isn't just keeping her out of hospital, it's keeping her alive. Teagan can have up to as many as 300 seizures a day. Since starting this treatment in April 2019 she has not had to have rescue medication or be admitted to hospital at all!! She is slowly re-learning the skills she lost and her quality of life has dramatically improved. Teagan finally has a new lease of life but I'm terrified of not being able to fund it for much longer. We have been extremely lucky with people helping and donating and I hate asking, but this is my little girls life and I will do whatever I need to help her.
