Story
This year our women’s section recieved funding to buy some new rugby kit. We bought balls, cones, bibs and tackle bags. It meant we had some old kit which was part worn, cloggin up our changing room.
So, we decided to try and recycle the old kit and found an amazing charity called SOS Kit Aid. The charity is supported by CAE Delivers and they disperse used rugby kit to clubs in communities who have very little. They have sent kit to countries like Fiji, Mexico, Belarus and Cambodia to name a few. We were delighted to help out in a small way, but we also learned that it costs the charity about £250 per delivery, so we‘d like to try and cover that cost by fundraising.
