As a result of this year‘s extraordinary circumstances, the annual Cookham Christmas Street Fayre has had to be cancelled in accordance with government guidelines. Whilst this is a great disappointment to us all we are keeping Cookham Christmas magical and the usual fabulous display of Christmas lights will light up the village once again this year!

As our local business owners have had a very challenging few months and because they fund the installation of the lighting with no help from the council we have decided to launch a Cookham Christmas Street light “crowd funding“ appeal and request donations. With everybody’s support and with nearly 6000 villagers in nearly 3000 households it wouldn’t take too much of a push from us all to reach our target of £5000.

So how about it? Are you on board?

We ask for your help as a community so that, in the finest of British traditions, we can Keep Calm and Carry On!
