I've raised £1000 to Half of the money will go to MND Association and the other half of the money will go towards the Stem Cell Therapy for Paul Cook

In August 2017, only a few months ago, my dad, Paul Cook, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease. MND is incurable and unfortunately, is also terminal. It has brought indescribable sadness to all family and friends, as we watch a slow and unfair deterioration of an incredible man. There isn’t enough awareness of this horrible disease, but worst of all there is currently no cure. I’m holding a Charity Event in order to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Research, so hopefully they can work towards finding a cure and stop families having to go through the toughest challenges imaginable. We are also putting 50% of the money towards Stem Cell Therapy for my dad, to help ease his pain, potentially reverse some of the symptoms, and give him a better quality of life for however long it may be until the disease takes over compeltely.
Along with the charity event, I have decided to set up this Just Giving page for all of the incredible people I know that won’t be attending the event, but would like to make a difference and help towards the research of this horrible disease, and of course, the treatment that could change my dad‘s life. Your donations, however big or small, mean so much to my family and can really make a difference in helping my dad.
Whilst on the inside this disease continues to deteriorate, his friends and the support around him will not let it take away the man he will always be. Please play a part in this and donate!
Thank you, endlessly.
