I've raised £1250 to help fund removal of Saundersfoot's 150yo, diseased Copper Beech Tree. No help from NP; Dad is funding cost himself. Would you like to help?

Story

Jim & Liz Crockford have lived in ”Coppers” for over 50 years. The tree has bloomed every year for over 150 yrs but this will be it’s last. After Dad had the tree surveyed it was found to be diseased and deemed unsafe. For safety of the local community Dad has instigated the removal of the tree on Monday 4th May, a sad day indeed.

When the Tenby Observer reported this and I shared, I informed the community that, despite requests to the National Parks, there is no funding to assist with the removal of the tree. Dad and Mum are funding it themselves.

Dad does not know about this page and is certainly not anticipating any help being the proud man he is.

We know how much he is loved in the community, so if you would like to help please donate.

Thank you for reading.
