I've raised £1000 to allow me (a 15 year old scout), and subsidise young scouts from poorer countries, to attend the World Scout Jamboree in USA in 2019

Hi, my name is Cora Edwards, I'm 15 years old, and I'm one of the few lucky scouts and Explorers who have been selected to participate in the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia, USA. The only problem is I've got to raise A LOT of money to get there.
The 24th World Scout Jamboree will be held between 22nd July and 2nd August 2019. It is held every four years with around 45,000 attending from over 150 different countries. This year it will be held at the Summit Bechtel reserve in West Virginia, America.
The World Scout Jamboree is an event aimed at bringing together scouting communities from around the world to seek new adventures and experiences, as well as learning about each other's different lives and cultures. As a participant my aim will be to make the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity.
The cost for me to attend the Jamboree is £4,000. This may sound a lot but, not only does it cover everything from my flights and accommodation (tents - not 5 star hotels!), it also helps to support members from poorer countries who otherwise may not be able to attend (it wouldn't be the same without them).
To help me fund my journey I've been running children's art classes, bag packing, cake sales and catering at events to raise money and I'm planning to run a concert for my whole school!
However, even all this isn't likely to be nearly enough which is why any contributions, no matter how big or small would be really welcome.
Thank you so much
