Story

English -

8, 000 miles away from the Europe, the Coral Triangle is the world’s most diverse marine ecosystem. However, it also feeds over 120 million people who depend on it for their subsistence. Therefore, the area is facing numerous challenges. Donations will help Operation Wallacea recruit scientists and research assistants to collect scientific data over this 6-million km square area area with the final aim to find a balance between conservation and obtaining enough resources for local communities.

Having spent my entire life with the sea, I feel deeply concerned and involved in its protection. I vow a real passion to marine animals and would like to share it. This project is a close cause to my heart and I hope I can help make a difference by proving that the rich ecosystems of the Coral Triangle are worth being protected from destructive techniques.
