Storm Desmond hit the North East of England hard in 2015/16 and took our local cricket club pavilion with it. After a difficult season managing to accommodate teams in the loft of our current changing facilities, the committee have decided to raise funds for a brand new pavilion that will be built on stilts to combat any risk from future flooding. Corbridge Cricket Club is a social hub of the community with many people coming down to visit the ground and watch matches from all age groups in the height of the summer. The new pavilion aims to attract the same crowds throughout the summer months but also attract other users to generate funds to further improve the club as a whole.
