I've raised £250 to help Leanne-Tingey-Thompson to get closer to being able to purchase a power wheel chair

Leanne has a long term chronic medical condition called Elhers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) which is a connective tissue disorder. This causes Leanne to have weakness and fragility in her whole body including internal organs and blood vessels. Other related problems that Leanne suffers from due to her EDS includes Autonomic disfunction (POTS) Gastroparisis and intestinal failure.
Due to a major infection Leanne lost all her speech and movement but has now regained her speech but her movement is very restricted. Leanne can sit up for short intervals, but cannot stand unaided or walk, so is totally wheelchair dependent now.
To gain more independence, Leanne would like to purchase a power wheelchair, so that she can regain some independence. Due to Leanne’s chronic conditions a basic power chair will not meet all her specific needs which is why she needs to purchase a specific type of power wheelchair (at a cost of £25,000).
My Brother, Ali Robb and I are going to be taking part in the Queensferry Crossing Experience in Scotland on 2/09/17! The Queensferry Crossing has been built to support the Forth Road bridge and spans 1.7 miles across the River Forth. This is a once in a life time opportunity to walk across the newly built Queensferry bridge which after this event will only ever be open to traffic and not pedestrians.
I have decided to use this opportunity to fundraise to help Leanne to get closer to her target.
If you are able to support me to support Leanne, we would both like to say a big THANK YOU!
