Story
The selfless Corrie Hathaway continues her adventure to Kenya, helping so many innocent and vulnerable children and this time... she’s going for six months...
Corrie invited close friends and family to watch a presentation she’d put together - to show us what life was actually like there. It honestly brought tears to our eyes...
We genuinely dont realise just how good we have it. Without the help from Corrie as well as other Christians, these poor children would be in a very different situation.
Corrie and the small team of volunteers will have hundreds of poor babies/children each day to look after, feed, bathe, nuture and provide medical help to.The reason they do this, is to make sure the older children in the family have a chance at an education...a chance to be something. A chance that we take for granted.
Without the help of the Nyumba (feeding program) who knows what these children would be doing each day. Afterall, taking drugs is cheaper than eating and the photos and stories, we can never unsee.
Corrie can bring hope to those children, guide them in the right direction and we can help her, help them.
There’s a reason why i’ve set up this page and that’s because Corrie would feel too awful about asking for your help BUT trust me, its really needed!
This collection will help pay towards a roof for the shelter, basic bowls, cups and simple things like plasters. Just to put it into perspective, at the moment its 1 bowl between 20 children and as there is such a limited water supply, these bowls are far from clean.
Lets do this guys, lets raise £500 as a minimum and help those so much less fortunate than ourselves..
Thank you for any donation, it will go such a long way...
