I've raised £2000 to help the family of Jake Perry, who was so horrifically injured in 2020, the money I raise will go directly to his mother.

Story

As of 11th April, I am raising funds for the family of Jake Perry. Jake suffered life changing injuries after an attack on a night out in July 2020. As a result, Jake has had to learn all the basic skills in life once again and has had to move back to Australia with his mum to receive the care that he needs. This was not a decision taken lightly for his family as it meant that Jake has had to leave behind his young daughter.

As a father myself I cannot begin to imagine what his family are all going through, but I want to help in any way I can, whether this money goes towards his care or towards his daughter being able to see him, whatever his family feel is best I am happy to raise what I can for them.

I will be running 5km a day for 30 days, whether that be on the treadmill at work or in the open in my spare time. I really hope you can give whatever you can afford to help this family out in what is probably the hardest time of their lives.

Thank you
