Story

*****UPDATE********

The fundraiser has now been so successful that I am speaking to local charities to see what other things we can offer support with. They have told me that often the people sleeping rough don't have anywhere to keep their belongings so I'm hoping to raise enough money to buy back packs, sleeping bags, thermals and food vouchers as well as hats, scarves, gloves and socks.

Thanks to all who have donated and shared the page! you're all amazing!

Last year I wrapped up 10 parcels for homeless people in Glasgow - in the parcels there was hats, scarves, gloves and socks - small things that might make a difference to someone who is sleeping rough.

Its only October and already the temperatures are starting to plummet and this morning I saw the first frost on the ground.

It makes me really sad to think of people lying on the cold ground in these cold temperatures and I feel like I need to try to make a difference.

So this year I'd like to try and do a little bit more, last year I managed to pull together 10 parcels and this year I'd like to be able to wrap up 20 packages with thermal hats, gloves, scarves and socks in them to hand out to people living outside in these cold cold nights .

I know that Christmas is an expensive time for everyone but all I need is 50 people to donate £2.

Thank you!!

****Update**** The original target of £200 was hit within the first day of the campaign so I've now doubled the target to see if I can hand out parcels to more people.
