Story
At Counselling Carers we specialise in counselling for people who look after the most vulnerable members of our society, including those caring for disabled or elderly relatives, children with Special Educational Needs, and adults with learning disabilities.
The past few years have been exceptionally tough for carers and many face burn out and are struggling to cope with their caring responsibilities. Carers often feel overwhelmed, stressed, depressed or anxious, but caring responsibilities can cause them to put their own mental health needs to one side.
We support carers’ emotional wellbeing so that they can approach their caring responsibilities with renewed resilience, but most carers are unpaid and even before the current cost-of-living crisis specialist help was beyond what they could afford.
By giving today you can help us to subsidise our counselling sessions so that every carer who wants specialist counselling help can access it, whatever their financial situation.

Counselling Carers
We want to see the most vulnerable people in our society thriving, and those who care for them are often unsupported in this vital task. Our mission is to create space for carers to process their own feelings, find restoration and healing, and be empowered to be resilient.
