    Story

Baking is a lost art and local colleges are no longer running courses. We want to run courses during the school holidays for local children to learn different methods of baking. From cupcakes to bread. We want to get interest in traditional baking methods without additives and preservatives so wholesome food is consumed. To help us do this we need to raise money for new mixers and ovens and to help with the cost of the ingredients. When they attend our courses whatever they produce they can take home with them. We intend if this fundraising is succesful to offer the courses at no cost to families that would otherwise not be able to afford it. This endeavour would also help parents keep children amused during school holidays.

The art of baking is being lost to the supermarket, please help us get people baking again.

People to often buy mass manufactured bread from the supermarkets. The traditional loaf of bread and cake making has fallen away. Colleges locally arent offering courses in bread making like they used to years ago. Our aim is to reintroduce to children the art of fresh bread.
