Courtney was a talented sportsman and he successfully graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2014 with a degree in Sports Pedagogy. During the course, he had a dream to create more opportunities for children with different abilities to enjoy the benefits of sport.

Sadly, his was unable to bring his dream into reality as he developed serious epilepsy. Despite this, his care for others shone through and he managed to work as a Support Worker for St. Annes before epilepsy made it impossible to carry on working.

Courtney had a seizure and died on the of 11th December 2018. We would like to see Courtney’s dream to help children with various abilities enjoy the benefits of sport.
