Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 my husband and I (owners of Cousins Kebab House) have supported the Tamworth Volunteer Support Group and Hive Foundation in providing food for the less fortunate families that have been greatly effected by food poverty within the Tamworth region. With so many unfortunate circumstances that have effected families from all walks of life we felt that we needed to do more and offer a hot meal. With our kitchen closed to the public on a Sunday Lunch time it enabled us to use the facilities to cater for those families that were in need.

The first Sunday Dinners were prepared and distributed to 138 adults and children on the 24th January. We wish to continue providing hot Sunday Dinners until the end of February as there is a great number of families that have since come forward to be added to the weekly list.

We would appreciate any donation that you could kindly give to help us continue with feeding our local families a healthy hot meal.
