Story

We are raising money to support our Young Ambassadors on their forthcoming trip to Japan in November 2019 where they will be representing Coventry. We are very grateful to the Daiwa Foundation http://dajf.org.uk/ for their sponsorship of this trip.
Monies raised will be used to provide a broad range of cultural opportunities to the Ambassadors and allow them to learn about Toyko 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.
The ten young ambassadors who have been chosen for this trip are aged 10-11 and go to Howes Primary School, Finham Primary School, Broad Heath, Park Hill Primary School and Stivichall Primary School.
Coventry Young Ambassadors are children from Coventry primary schools who have been selected and trained to represent their city at cultural and sporting events. The programme was launched in February 2018 and it is supported by a number of organisations including the City of Culture, the Japan Foundation, London and the Sasakawa Foundation. The programme seeks to give the children leadership opportunities and the chance to be ambassadors for their city.

Look out for the friendly faces of Coventry Young Ambassadors at European City of Sport and City of Culture events in Coventry.
