We Need Your Help with Fundraising !

Since the beginning of 2022 we have been working with local Manchester Artist Len Grant. Len has been documenting the work we do here at Coverdale & Newbank Charity and the Community Food Shop we run.

Through his Artwork, Interviewing Volunteers and Customers, Len has been compiling Short Stories of our Food Shop Members and has helped to raise awareness and highlight the " Cost of Living Crisis " our Community Members are facing.

A Stark Choice - In 2022 - of Eating or Heating ?

We need your Help to make a Real Difference !

Coverdale & Newbank Charity manage and run a Community Food Shop. This is different from a Food Bank - Whilst we work with Specialist Discounted Food Suppliers to buy bulk discounted food we then redistribute to our members at a low cost - Unfortunately it is Not Free.

For a small fee of £2.50 our Food Shop Members receive enough food essentials to see them through for a week, with shopping such as Bread, Cereal, Fruit & Vegetables and Tinned food that would cost well over £25 - £35 in the Supermarkets.

Literally - A Lifeline - for community members - everyday - hardworking families just like you and I.

We have new Members arriving every day and wanting to join. In most cases Needing to join as they and there families are really struggling to make ends meat, facing the ever demanding cost of living crisis of a hard choice between choosing - eating and feeding there family - or heating there home.

Coverdale & Newbank Charity will never see anyone go hungry. We cannot turn people away.

But we need your help and your donations to help more. Increase Capacity.

Our Charity is Non-Profit and run entirely by Volunteers.

In unprecedented times after the Covid 19 Pandemic, Charity Funding has been cut and money is tight. Coverdale & Newbank Charity are at the forefront of the Cost of Living Crisis, and the demand for our help just keeps growing.

So please - we know it is tough times and that money is tight. Please Give what you can - Small Charities like ours really do appreciate your kindness and your caring generosity !
