Crafty cuppa will provide art therapy classes in a familiar environment for the elderly, terminally ill and those with disabilities. Through the art of crafting as a group or one to one i aim to provide an outlet for expression and communication, instilling a sense of pride in creating something to show off.

Crafting will create many benefits for conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer's, Anxiety and Stress. It will help with hand eye coordination and communication for those who are unable to voice their feelings. It is an escape from things going on in day to day life providing a fun colourful way to relax.

After losing my mother to cancer i looked back over our favourite hobby we shared which was crafting. When i was bed bound unable to walk she introduced me to card making and it took off from there. There was nothing my mother loved more than a good crafting session and a cuppa, after seeing and experiencing the benefits of crafting i thought what a perfect way to honour my mother.
