I ran the Brighton marathon for a children's charity last year and raised a good amount of money for them which was great. Thanks to everyone of my friends and family who donated last time... I have entered it again and am lucky enough to be able to get a place without having to do it through a specific charity.
So as I'm doing it anyway I thought I may as well give my training a focus and put all them tired hours of running in the cold and wet, during the dark mornings and evenings to some good use. I've realised that helping out the school my children go to will benefit alot of children in my local area, giving them and future children at the school all chance to use the equipment or kit that the school and PTA decide to use the money for.
