24 Hour Football Marathon

Barrow AFC Community Trust, The Bluebirds Trust and The Barrow and District Junior Football League are raising money to support two fantastic causes.

To do this we will be playing in a 24 hour football match, two teams made up of local representatives of The Barrow AFC Community Trust, The Bluebirds Trust and The Barrow and District Junior Football league with battle it out over the mammoth period to raise as much money as possible.

Cause one: To improve facilities at Barrow AFC's Progression Solicitors Stadium for Supporters with Disabilities, this will include access and making their match day experience the best it can be

Cause two: To improve local grass roots football facilities for the local community. This will be down to the Barrow and District Junior League and it's clubs to decide where the money would be best spent. We want people young and old to have the best possible experiences when playing football, this could include improving changing facilities, pitch maintenance or purchasing equipment for council owned sites.
