My son Ben has been given the opportunity by his school to go out to Costa Rica on a 16 day outdoor expedition in July 2019.

During his time there he will have the opportunity to participate in various projects; Costa Rica's turtle breeding programme, helping to build a school or planting crops to enable the local community to become self sufficient.

Ben is passionate about helping with Costa Rica's turtle breeding programme which starts with collecting the eggs once they have been laid on the beach, relocating them into safe dens to ensure their safety from predators, then releasing hatchlings, this gives the hatchlings a much better chance of survival hopefully increasing the wild population of these endangered species.

He really wants to get involved with these projects and needs the help to fund this trip of a lifetime. The money raised will go towards funding this experience and give him the opportunity to help with these amazing projects as well as visiting the sites of Costa Rica.
