I've raised £1000 to raise funds so Bradleigh and his family can ensure they get the help he needs with his nut allergy.

Fundraising Appeal – Bradleigh Valentine
I am Craig Williams and I am a Brymbo Lodge Youth Football Club (YFC) under 6 coach. One of my players, Bradleigh Valentine has a severe nut allergy which may cause him to become seriously ill, which could be fatal. This vastly impacts on all aspects of Bradleigh’s life, including playing football with his mates.

To improve the quality of Bradleigh’s life, his parents applied for him to be considered for a medical desensitisation trial to peanuts. Bradleigh has been fortunate enough to be accepted on the NHS trial which will be conducted in London. This trial will involve Bradleigh having to travel between London and home once every two weeks for six months and staying overnight to monitor his reaction. A further monthly visit for eighteen months will be required to continue to track his progress.

The family need to cover the cost of travel and accommodation for the duration of the trial.

Bradleigh is a happy outgoing young boy who didn’t ask for this allergy, but as a result he must miss out on so many things his friends take for granted. The reality is his condition is life threatening and his mum and dad move heaven and earth to ensure his safety while still trying to offer him a ‘normal’ quality of life.

Unless it’s something that affects you, we don’t even think twice about what we eat at home or out and about at school or with friends. It is an all-consuming and fearful task to know your little boy could have a fatal reaction through eating anything that “MAY CONTAIN” traces of nuts.

We would be grateful for any donation, large or small that you could kindly donate.
Thank you
