Story
Tragically on Saturday Donna Ireland came home from work to find that her beloved son Craig Lee Chandler had taken his own life
Craig was such a lovely boy who had some recent struggles and those who know him will know how charming and kind hearted he was.
The loss of a child is the most difficult loss to bear and as Craig leaves no estate it means the additional burden of paying for a funeral falls to his family. A funeral cost thousands of pounds and so to help relieve the burden just a little bit we would like to ask people to give a donation no matter how small to help give Craig the send of that he deserves
Mental health is a huge problem today and suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK
So please, if you are suffering, get help before you find yourself in the position that you have no other options like Craig. Talk to friends, people you love or medical professionals to honour Craig’s memory. Even if you are unable to donate please share this message so as many of our young people can get the help they need
His funeral will be will be held on Thursday 30th August at 10.30 at South Shields crematorium and then afterwards at Hedworth Hall, Dean Road.
His family would love to see as many of his friends and family there.
If you know anybody who is struggling with mental health or coming to terms with the loss of a loved one the link below is a great source of advice of ways to get help. Please share this with anybody who may need it
