Story
Our great friend Craig Mallon was killed in a senseless unprovoked attack not long after arriving for his brother’s “stag” weekend in Lloret de Mar, Spain on 19th May 2012.
Craig’s family not only having to deal with the horrors of losing Craig who was only 26, have had to deal with all sorts of issues to try and get justice with no support from our own governments in the UK.
10 years later no one has been arrested.
Craig’s family and David Swindle’s “Victims Abroad” Team continue to push the authorities for progress.
Sadly families who lose loved ones as a result of homicide, or in unresolved, unexplained or suspicious circumstances have to finance their own campaigns for justice and incur massive costs travelling to other countries, paying for lawyers and translations.
On 22nd May 2022 when we are climbing Ben Nevis mountain we will be thinking on our dear friend Craig.
We have decided to fundraise in Craig’s memory the proceeds of which we will be donating to the Kirsty Maxwell Charity set up by the parents of Kirsty Maxwell killed abroad in Spain to help other families unfortunate to find themselves in the same tragic circumstances as the family of Craig Mallon.
Please contribute whatever you can to this worthwhile cause and share our campaign on social media.
