Story
Sometimes some of the biggest ideas come from small humble beginnings. Over the weekend, Alice in Reception made cupcakes to sell and raised an amazing amount for the NHS. We thought this was a brilliant idea and as we also know there are many incredible bakers amongst our pupil body, we are challenging pupils to bake and sell cupcakes to your family, in order to support this very worthy cause. We realise that pupils can only sell to their immediate families due to lockdown, but other ideas include selling a voucher to grandparents or other members of your family who are not in your immediate household bubble, which can then be redeemed once restrictions are eased. Here is a link (Cupcake Recipe) to a recipe for basic cupcakes that your son or daughter might like to use. We look forward to seeing all of your delicious cupcake creations!
Our Alice Cupcake Campaign will kick-start our effort to raise as much money as possible over the course of this half-term and we thank all parents and families for getting involved in supporting those working in the NHS at this particularly challenging time.

3 years agoThank you to all our our wonderful supporters and the wider community for rallying together to produce a truly amazing result. We're now ending our campaign and shall be notifying our 10 lucky winners of the Bake-Off raffle by the end of this week!

We have a new patron to help us in our fundraising efforts and I hope you are as excited as the pupils are to see the return of Lottie Bedlow to our school community. 10 Bake-Off cook books signed by Lottie herself have been donated towards the fundraising campaign. Any supporter who has made a donation on our JustGiving page will be included in the raffle for one of these special cook books. So, please make a donation if you haven't already and spread the word to help raise vital funds NHS staff.
