Story

Ben, Kristofer, Megan and William are proud to be have been selected by Crawley District Scouts to be a part of the UK contingent for the 24th World Scout Jamboree.

Jointly hosted by the Boy Scouts of America, Scouts of Canada and the Scout Association of Mexico, the Jamboree will take place from the 22nd July to the 2nd August 2019 at the Summit Bechtel Family National Scout Reserve in West Virginia, USA.

Our goal is to work hard to raise £14,000 over the next 18 months. This will contribute to our attendance at the event but more importantly will allow Scouts from other less fortunate countries to attend, supporting the aim of the Jamboree ‘Unlock a New World’.

The World Scout Jamboree is a unique, international adventure shaped by young people. By attending as part of the UK contingent, we will be able to have a positive impact not only on Scouting but also our local community.

If you are inspired by the potential of the World Scout Jamboree to enhance and develop the skills of the next generation, we invite you to contribute to our fundraising by making a donation.

If you would like to learn more about the event, make sure to check our website here!

From all of us, thank you!
