Creative Futures is a 5 week course offered to young people at the New Leaf Hub cic.

The 5 week program takes a group of people who often don't know each other and ends with new cross community friendships being made.

The course uses fun activities to teach really valuable life lessons.

So art, helps people make a statements, puppetry for story telling, acting for confidence, singing for the laughs and team build events to demonstrate the virtues of collaboration, we end the 5 week courses with a show (i guess this is experience number 6), such as an art display at a local community focal point plus a video presentation of all the above.

Raising £1100 would enable us to deliver another 5 week course free at point of use, meaning that this fun and life affirming course is accessible to all young people in Ballymena.

This enables 12 young people (8-18) to benefit from each weekly 3 hour experience.

* There are 6 experiences in total , with each lasting for 3 hours with lunch, drink and snacks provided on every visit..

Total cost is £1100, total cost per person for the whole course is £91.66

For each of the 6 days this works out as £15.28 per day or just £5.10 per hour per young person (which includes materials, food, drink, meals etc)

As you can see, the costings are very competitive, we work super hard for penny of value and are doubly committed to each young persons development.
