Story

Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.”

Creative Curiosities SW CIC began in 2020.

Coming from a neurodivergent family ourselves, and knowing the struggles that children, young people and families like ours still have, we wanted to offer support to access education and increase employability. We envisaged a world where neurodiversity would be celebrated, and everyone encouraged to be, (and provided with the accommodations needed for them to be) their authentic selves.

Our organisation has grown organically as we have followed the path the children, young people and adults have wanted to take. We are working towards a neurodivergent theatre production company, providing not only training and employment

We have been delivering sessions out of church and village halls and the Plymouth Athenaeum . This outreach work in Yelverton, Southway, Roborough and Ivybridge will continue but we have now been lucky enough to secure a permanent base within the Athenaeum.

Refurbishing and equipping the premises will mean we can offer more family support, youth groups, therapies and 1:1 or small group coaching to neurodivergent families, children, young people and adults.

Will you help us? Every £1 donated will go towards the refurbishment.
