We are part of the national Girl Guide Association. Our local district, Crediton, is made up of 8 units, 6 of which use the Guide Hut on a weekly basis. The 8 units cater for approximately 220 girls and young women, aged from 5 to 18 in the local area.

Our Guide Hut was originally built in the 1980's and we have recently updated our kitchen to enable us to spend time cooking with our girls in a more suitable environment. Unfortunately, our toilet facilities are still dated and we are looking to refurbish these areas to make them accessible and up to date.

We are hoping that funding from the local community would cover a large proportion of the redesigning and refitting of the facilities to bring them up-to-date and more in line with our new kitchen.
