I'm raising £5,000 to develop and launch Cricket Local – the ultimate app for grassroots cricket clubs and players.

Hi everyone,

I’m building Cricket Local, a dedicated app that brings together live scores, fixtures, results, player stats and more for local cricket clubs — starting with Derbyshire and the surrounding counties.

From passionate club players and families to loyal supporters, this app makes it easy to follow your favourite teams, never miss a match, and celebrate local cricket achievements. It already has a working version with data from over 145 clubs, but I need your help to take it to the next level.

What the £5,000 will go towards:

Professional development & design improvements

Reliable hosting and scaling for more users

Data compliance and legal setup (including proper Play-Cricket integration)

Marketing to reach more clubs and players across the region

Ongoing running costs for the first year
