Story
On the 28th of December, alongside another rescue we took in a pair of female mice and their babies that were a result of accidental litters / mis-sexing of mice, and they were at risk of all being euthanised if not rescued.
With one of the mothers arriving already pregnant again, we have 5 older male babies and 3 younger male babies that need to be neutered. We strongly believe it is ethically necessary for them to be neutered so they can live socially with other mice as company as they‘re meant to, without posing a risk to other mice.
As a new / small rescue we pay full price for surgery appointments and its going to cost minimum £60 per male to cover the cost of their neuter / pain relief afterwards. If you can donate anything at all to help these mice live the life they deserve it will be hugely appreciated , as most of our limited funds are going towards keeping everyone fed and building new enclosures.
These lovely boys are due to be neutered in March, and all have homes lined up with other mouse friends waiting to welcome them.
