Crofters rescue is a small charity in Rayleigh, Essex.
One day we were called out as an emergency to help with a 4 day old foal, of course we couldn't say no. We named this little boy Horace, with grit and determination this little lad survived and became a part of the family, he is now living an amazing life with his long term fosterer. Unfortunately Horace has an injury to his fetlock. After six months of constant medication, treatments, vet visits and heartache, it has finally been decided to give him any chance of survival that a titanium plate is to be inserted to fuse this area. His insurance money has finally dwindled and we cannot afford the operation without your help. xx
