Story

We are four friends getting together to cycle from New Crofton (Wakefield) to Hornsea on the 8th September 2017. We hope to raise some funds to help a good friend of ours buy a much needed electric wheelchair.
11 Years ago our friend Scott (Marshall) was diagnosed with rapidly evolving severe relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis resulting in severe Multiple disability. (MS)

Multiple sclerosis, or MS, is a long-lasting disease that can affect your brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves in your eyes. It can cause problems with vision, balance, muscle control, and other basic body functions. The effects are often different for everyone who has the disease. In 2006 Scott was diagnosed with rapidly evolving severe relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis resulting in severe Multiple disability.

Over the years Scotts Mobility has deterioated as a result of the disease. An electric wheelchair would help him get some independence back and enable him to access public transport and just get him out and about again.

Any donation however small will be greatfully recieved and will help us to raise the funds he needs.

Thank you for reading and please follow the story and our progress in completing this challenge.

Love Steph, Alice, Danielle and Hannah x

and a massive thank you from Scott himself!

Lets do this!
