Weʼre raising £2,500 to Support Cromer Community Fridge & Larder

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

We have number of Community projects including the Community Larder which was launched during lockdown to support people facing food poverty. Working alongside local support groups and foodbanks the overwhelming feedback was the need for fresh food. Families with children and elderly residents accessing the food support need fresh food to suplement their diet. Working alongside the Cromer and District Foodbank we have secured a fridge and are working towards adding a freezer. We are also in need of thermometers for the fridge and freezer (£40) for both. The area we are using needs to be converted and new shelving installed (£1800), the remainder (£660) will be used to run the units and pay volunteer expenses for the next 12 months. Thank you for your support.
