Natii is 11 years old. Her father died when she was young and since then her eldest brother has sold all of the family’s assets. He has now withdrawn all of his siblings from school. The boys (incl. 8yr old) have been sent out to herd sheep and the girls have all been married, apart from Natii. He is now trying to arrange for Natii to marry a 55-year old man so that he can receive the bride price. Natii is desperate to go to boarding school as she does not feel safe living with her bother.

Olare Orok and Motorogi Trust works with communities in the Maasai Mara to increase the benefits that they receive from conservation. Scholarships for needy children is one of our initiatives. As well as paying all of Natii's expenses for her to continue her education we will ensure that she receives the necessary emotional support. Natii is a very brave girl for running away from her proposed husband and asking for help.

In total we need to raise $1800 to ensure that Natii can go from class three that she is in now to the end of primary school. This money includes all school fees, uniform, school essentials, transport and there is a small allocation for health care. It will cover everything that she needs for life in boarding school. We will not stop supporting her when she reaches the end of primary school. We will work with her to determine the most appropriate next step for her goals in life.
