I've raised £1000 to Stoke Maternity ward "Forget me not rooms"

The amazing community at Central staffs CrossFit are undertaking the 3 peaks challenge. This is taking on Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis all in 24 hours. This is no small feat! We are doing this on a short schedule less than 4 months to train, learn and ensure everyone is safe during the challenge.
We are raising money for the "Forget me not ward" at Royal Stoke University Hospital. The ward cares for families who have stillborn and neonatal complications. The UK has one of the highest rates for still born babies. It is around 9 a day. Or 1 in 200.
The "Forget me not" ward at Stoke is very close to my families heart. August last year my entire family were devasted by the loss of our little girl. On August 2nd our entire world was turned upside down with news our little one had no heart beat on arrival to Stoke .
Bryony was a little early at 36 weeks and 6 but this news was a total blow with no warning.
This is where the care of the "forget me not" ward was so important to us. We were taken to a private quiet room away from other deliveries to be cared for and to deliver our little girl in the safest way possible. The staff guided us every step of the way and supported us not only in health but emotionally at the toughest time in our life. On August 3rd early hours Bryony came into the world born sleeping. The ward meant we had priceless time together as a family which I will never forget and cherish in my heart.
It is scary how many people have endured the same thing, however many we're not fortunate enough to have something like the "forget me not" ward at Stoke.
We cannot thank the staff at the "forget me not" ward enough for caring for our family not only then but continually afterwards through the hardest of times and the darkest of days. We want to give something back so people can care for their family in the best way possible.
This is a truly worthy cause for the community at Central Staffs CrossFit in memory of Bryony our little angel.
