Story

Chipping Sodbury Touch Rugby Team have set out to help Matt, a keen wheelchair rugby player with Cerebral Palsy to purchase his own made to measure chair to enable him to follow his dreams of one day playing at the Paralympics.

Matt is a very passionate player who loves the big hits, he has been playing wheelchair rugby for 2 years with the Taunton Gladiators and with your support would now like to take his performance to the next level.

CSRFC Touch Team is a newly established section of the club that prides itself on inclusion which extends far beyond the team into the wider community. CSRFC believe that everyone should have the opportunity to play and be involved with rugby, whether it be contact, touch or wheelchair and are delighted to be helping Matt on his journey to reaching his full potential within the sport.

Our main fundraising event will be a 24hour Touch Rugby Game, held from 6pm on Friday the 19th May 2023. If you would like to be involved in playing or supporting please get in contact CSRFCtouchrugby@yahoo.com

Your contribution however big or small will be greatly appreciated.
