Story

We are a group of actors, dancers, models and entertainers with Down's Syndrome. Over the past two years we have been breaking new ground with performances in amazing venues and in association with some exceptionally gifted and visionary industry professionals. We will be taking our 'Drag Syndrome' project on tour over the summer, and touring our production of Samuel Beckett's 'Waiting for Godot' later this year. We have received such positive feedback that we are now aiming to perform to much wider audiences across the UK and beyond. But we have a problem: our performers give their time and talent on a voluntary basis, but most have very limited personal funds to pay for travel, accommodation, subsistence and the necessary additional expense of a support worker to accompany them to rehearsals and performance venues. This is why we need your money. By donating as much (or as little) as you can afford, you will be helping us to show the world what people with Down’s Syndrome can do, and the contribution we can make to 21st century culture and the arts. We love performing; we want to entertain audiences everywhere and to be positive role models for others with Down's Syndrome (and their families and caregivers) who may not have had such great opportunities to shine.
