We are hoping to establish a new local community initiative dedicated to supporting elderly day service users in Workington. With the closure of Age Uk West Cumbria Day Services in Workington this month, many in our community are losing a vital lifeline.

We are a group of ex-AgeUK Day Services employees stepping in to ensure that our elderly neighbors continue to receive the care, companionship, and support they deserve.

The money raised will go towards a new Day Service provision in Workington run by the staff that the service users know and love.

Our mission goes beyond services – we are a family. We are committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where every individual feels valued and connected. Your help and support are crucial to making this possible.

Our target is a start up cost but to keep the Day Services running we will need ongoing support - anything you can give or even if you can share our story, we will be forever grateful.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our cherished elders.
