    Story

Here is an update on our campaign. We are on the home straight!

    We need some help!

The floor of the framing department is likely to collapse within 6 months unless urgent repairs are carried out and the costs are coming in at an eye watering amount! Sadly this is our responsibility under lease. There are a number of other significant building repairs also needed but nothing as urgent as the state of the floor.

Ideally we need to raise around £40,000 – which is a terrifying target.

When we reach £100 - Cupola will hold a staff 'Bake Off' - with customers invited to sample and decide the winner! - Update. We held our staff bake off on Sat 7 September. Sadly we were unable to pick a winner as there were so many cakes and delicious items to sample people found it hard to choose. However, the snickers chocolate brownies were a definite hit as was my rather gooey chocolate nut fudge cake! Cakes are still available for anyone who wishes to nip down sooner rather than later! Thanks to all who baked!!

When we reach £500, Karen Sherwood will do a 'fancy' dive from the 5 metre platform. Karen is not keen on heights! - Update. I am practicing! Did a dive (not particularly fancy) last Thursday. Will get photo/video evidence. K x

When we reach £1000, Karen, Graham, Pete & Sarah will all jump from the 10 metre platform. NONE of the above are keen on heights and Karen is terrified!! - Update. I am not happy - although delighted at reaching £1000 of course! Ok - I didi it! Staff are still in training but I did it!!

More milestones! Ok. When we reach £2000...I hesitate to make this promise..... I will clean my teenage boys' bedroom!!! Yes two teenagers in one room - I may need a full protection suit, gloves and breathing apparatus but I shall tackle it....

Blimey, you lovely lot, I can hardly keep up. SO, now we are considering our options for the next milestones. We seem to have set the bar rather high, so are having a think....

Love to you all! K x

In 2021, the gallery reaches its 30th anniversary and we would love to be able to feel confident about its long term future, continuing to provide artists space to take risks, have fun and display and sell quality contemporary artwork.

Hi all, Just a quick note to say we will be posting a new video shortly just to show you how we are getting on. Oh and be aware I am making hand made cards, which are miniature paintings. If you would like to request any please do get in touch and feel free to donate whatever you feel in exchange. I am offering these as a small act of kindness so any amount however small is gratefully received. Much love to all. K x

Hi you gorgeous people! After much thought regarding the next big milestone I thought I'd challenge myself to learn a new (quite difficult) dive as risking life and limb does seem to boost donations!! 🤔😅😁 So, I have decided to try to attempt a 1&1/2 somersault with a full twist from the 3metre springboard if we reach £10,000. Here is a video of me practising a single somersault with a full twist from the 1m springboard. Feel free to share or reward my efforts/madness!! Thanks as ever for all your support, kindness and generosity. K xx
