I've raised £16000 to help build a new performance centre / gym at Cambridge University Rugby Football Club and raise money for charities Mind and Women in Sport

CURUFC women are going to run a 6hour relay on the 16th June 2018 around the Cambridge colleges, in order to see how many times as a team we can 'make the journey to Twickenham' - a distance of 66 miles.
50% of what we raise will go towards two charities: Mind and Women in Sport. We chose Mind because mental health is a prevalent issue within the University and Rugby Union, and we chose Women in Sport because we want to see more women involved in grassroots sport, and getting the mental and physical health benefits of being active!
The other 50% will go towards the building of a brand new gym and performance centre at the home of Light Blue rugby, Grange Road. The current facilities are not fit for purpose now that the club is growing and both men and women have intensive strength and conditioning programmes. The vision of the new gym is that it will be fundraised for by both men and women and therefore will be a fully co-owned space, that should set the culture of integration for future players coming through the club.
We have set an ambitious target of £16,000 as a team, so will be incredibly grateful for any donations, however small!
