I've raised £1000 to Caroline Burns (My Auntie and God mother) to help with her cancer treatment.

Hiya! My name is Michael O'Hara and I'm eight years old. For the past year I have been growing my hair as I really wanted to look like Jack Black from School of Rock. As you can see I have achieved that! :) It is now time that I go for the chop but before I go and get an awesome new do I wanted to raise some money and awarness for someone that is very special to me and my family. My Auntie Caroline.
My Auntie Caroline was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2013 just days before her 30th birthday. After an operation to remove 70% of the tennis ball size tumour, radiotherapy and chemotherapy she was fighting a good fight. However in March 2015 she was told that there was nothing else they could do as the last session of chemotherapy was not as successful as they had hoped. Prognosis at this time was 3-6 months. Not enough time, especially for my cousin Jack. He needs his mum.
Jack and Auntie Caroline.
Auntie Caroline and I when I was only five months old.
My Uncle Gary and Papa decided to look into some alternative therapies and treatments and came across:- Cannabis oil (cbd), Ldn, sativex. All this costs in the region of £1500 per month.
After taking the treatment for some time now, guess what? Its working! The tumour has decreased in size and with these positive effects has meant that the doctors can't put a number on life expectancey!
Capturing every moment.
I would love to help my auntie and family as much as I can. Even a little can go a long way. I'll be going for the chop on Saturday 30th of September. All donations would be greatly appreciated by everyone as there are so many more memories to be made with this special lady.
I will also be donating my ponytail to The Little Princess Trust which help provide real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair through illness and treatment.
You never know whats around the corner.
DONT HESITATE, DONATE!!
Thank you for reading.
