Pete Unsworth, Richard Farrer, Helen Richards, Christine Walsh, Wojciech Pilcicki, Steve Heap and I plan to spend a night under the stars outside of the CW Offices on Thursday 13th December.

Whilst sleeping out in the relative luxury of the Cycle Shed isn’t reflective of the experience faced by an increasing number of rough sleepers, we hope it will be unpleasant enough to inspire you all to dig deep and donate.

Over 4,700 people slept outside on any one night in the UK last year and the figures are increasing rapidly. This excludes the hidden homeless including those sofa surfing or staying with strangers in an attempt to have a roof over their heads so the true number is much higher.

Hope for Food’s mission is to assist men, women and children in Bournemouth and the surrounding areas, who are either homeless or living in poverty, by providing fresh food at our soup kitchens and hampers of food, good quality clothing, bedding and household goods, where needed.
