My name is Julia and I am a Ukrainian living in the UK. Back in April, my friends, family, and I managed to reach our target of £5,000 to buy drones for a Ukrainian volunteer battalion fighting in Eastern Ukraine with whom we have a personal link. Here is a photo of some of them being taken for delivery,

The reconnaissance drones we supplied them are proving decisive, allowing the Ukrainian battalion to keep track of Russian soldiers and armoured vehicles with thermal imaging and then target them, preventing them from occupying yet more of Ukraine.

The war in Ukraine has become a war of attrition. Right now, Russia has the upper hand in terms of weaponry and is even making consistent gains in the east, in addition to the land they already occupy in the South. New shipments from Western governments are expected to take over a month to arrive; some Western countries like Germany, Hungary, and France are dragging their feet. And yet each day, Ukrainians beg for more weapons as more and more of our population are killed, tortured and raped for absolutely no reason other than the fact they are Ukrainian.

Will you help stop Russia's fascism today?

The battalion are requesting new drones, replacement batteries for existing ones, medical supplies, and other vital equipment. By donating, you are contributing to the fight to liberate the Ukrainian population who are living under the genocidal rule of the Russians. We know the atrocities they commit when they are given the chance to. We know that in occupied areas like Kherson, countless Buchas are happening at every moment. That the Russians have set up concentration camps for Ukrainians and that they act with no mercy.

If given the opportunity, the Baltics, Poland, Finland, Germany, and westwards to Portugal will be next. It may sound far fetched, but this has been stated by officials on Russian primetime TV. Russia is has no problem threatening the world beyond the battleground: look at the acres of grain blockaded in Ukrainian ports, leaving millions at risk of starvation.

My partner and I will be cycling another 70km on 11th June to raise money to help supply the battalion so that they are able to fight ever more effectively. Please help us reach our goal!
