Story
I am cycling the length of England in Easter 2019 to raise awareness for and help children’s mental health services.
Many Children nowadays suffer from mental health ilnesses due to the many pressures of society today. However, lots of these children feel like they can‘t talk to people about these issues because they feel like they won’t listen to them and they feel like they wont be trusted or believed.
This needs to change!
All children should be able to speak to someone about their mental health in confidence and get the correct help for it as soon as possible, rather than keeping quiet and letting mental health affect their lives.
Donations will help to raise money towards charities such as Mind UK and Young Minds, who work to encourage children to speak out about their mental health and recieve the correct help.
Donations will therefore also go to the CAMHS NHS scheme, which will assist to help children to recover from mental illnesses after they have spoken to someone.
